Dance Time
A simple activity for babies and adults to enjoy together.
You will need:
- CD player
- Variety of childrens songs on CD
Activity:
Play a range of songs to the baby and sit opposite them waving your arms or swaying and moving on the spot. The baby may copy certain movements such as waving, give them praise as they do this. If the baby introduces new movements copy their moves too and enjoy dancing together.
Alternatively pick the child up and hold in your arms as you move around the room or gently sway to the music.
