Dangling Toys
This is a fun physical activity for babies who are not yet mobile, helping them to improve their hand eye coordination.
You will need:
- A range of babies favourite toys
Activity:
Hold the toys out towards the baby and encourage them to reach out to take them off you, this improves their hand eye coordination. Also move the toys around so the baby moves to follow the toys movement. Toys on rings or bouncy toys, for example those taken off a play mat or play gym can also be used as they can swing and move freely, encouraging the child to catch the objects to play with.
