Nursery Activity Ideas - Rolling A Ball Baby Game
A very simple baby game, suitable for babies who are starting to become more mobile, to assist muscle development and development of their gross motor skills.
You will need:
- A ball
Activity:
While the baby is sat down or lying on their stomach, roll a brightly coloured ball in front of them. The baby will enjoy watching the movement and colour, and may also reach out to grasp the ball. Reaching for the ball will encourage the baby to become more mobile which will assist muscle development and the development of their gross motor skills.
When the baby becomes more mobile roll the ball to the baby and encourage them to roll it back to you.
