Nursery Activity Ideas - Making A Sand Castle Collage
This is a simple and effective activity that can be easily adapted for children of all ages to enjoy.
You will need:
- Card
- Glue
- Scissors
- Sand
Activity:
If using this activity with younger children cut the card into a sand castle shape for them. Children over the age of three for example will be able to cut out the card into their own design with increased control and accuracy. Spread some glue onto the card and then pour some sand over the top. Tap off any excess sand and leave flat to dry. Once dry the collages can be used to create an effective wall display.
