Nursery Activity Ideas - Make A Symmetrical Butterfly Picture
This is a colourful activity that all children can participate in, although younger children will need help to fold the paper.
Fold an A4 sheet of paper in half and paint one side in a choice of colours. Once the children have finished their painting, fold the paper back the other way and smooth the plain side over the paint to create a symmetrical picture. Open the picture up carefully without smudging the paint and put to dry.
The symetrical pictures can also be cut into a butterfly shape.
