Paper Plate Ladybird Collage
An effective, colourful ladybird that children of all ages will be able to complete. However young children may need help with some assembly.
You will need:
- Paper plates
- Red glitter
- Black glitter
- Glue
- Googly eyes
Activity:
Give each child a paper plate, glue the bottom side of the plate and sprinkle with the red and black glitter. Older children will have more controlled and steady movements, so therefore may be able to place dots of black in areas of the plate between the red glitter.
Next place two googly eyes at one side of the paper plate, using some glue if they are not self adhesive. leave the ladybirds flat to dry. Once dry they can be hung from the ceiling or placed on a wall to make a bright, creative display.
