Making A Paper Plate Christmas Pudding
This is a simple festive activity suitable for children of all ages.
You will need:
- Paper plate
- Brown paint
- Black paint
- White paint
- Green paint
- Red paint
Activity:
Paint three quarters of the paper plate in brown, paint the remainder of the plate in white for the cream. Children can dip the tips of their fingers into the black paint and place dots over the brown paint to look like currents. To complete the Christmas pudding place a few red finger prints at the top of the pudding for holly berries and some green lines to make the holly leaves.
This activity can be easily adapted for children of all ages, if doing this activity with younger children you may wish to just paint the pudding in brown and white. When painting the white cream older children could put a little too much paint onto the pudding and hold their plates vertical so the white paint runs down the Christmas pudding.
