Nursery Activity Ideas - Make A Bonfire Night Rocket

Fairly easy to make, more suitable for older children.

Using a kitchen roll tube, decorate the tube, with paint or other materials to make different patterns.

Next cut out a circle of card and decorate similar to the tube. When the circle is dry, cut a slit into the centre of the circle and fold around into a cone. Glue the cone onto the top of the tube, and glue streamers or strips of brightly coloured crepe paper onto the bottom of the tube.

what age range would you say?

I would say this activity is probably more suitable for children aged three and over. However it could be complete by children of two years, but they may need more assistance in assembling the rocket.
