A creative group activity more suitable for children over the age of two, linking with a fairy tale topic based on the story of “the three little pigs”.
You will need:
- Large pieces of thick plain paper
- Thin sticks
Take the children into the garden or on a nature walk and collect some thin twigs to use for your collage.
Tape together several pieces of plain paper, and draw an outline of the “little Pigs” stick house. Cut out the house and as a group spread the glue onto the paper. Place the sticks onto the glue so that it covers the house and leave flat to dry. Once the house is dry it can be attached to the wall, along with the house of bricks and the house of straw to make an effective wall display.
