Nursery Activity Ideas - Tractor Tyre Printing Pictures

This is a fun and messy activity that can be enjoyed by children of all ages, however may be more suitable for children over the age of two.

You will need:

• Paper
• Plastic tractors or cars, that are easy to wash
• Brown paint
• Paint tray

Activity:

Pour the brown paint into the tray or plate, and place the tractors or cars in the centre of the table for all children to help themselves. Children can roll the vehicles through the paint then across the paper to leave tyre tracks. Once dry these pictures can be displayed as part of a farm theme.

Alternatively tape some paper together, and as part of a small group children can make one large tyre print picture.
