Nursery Activity Ideas - Blowing Bubbles Water Play

This activity is more suited for older children who will enjoy this simple and easy to set up fun activity.

You will need:

Water tray or Bowl
Straws

Activity:

Fill the tray with warm water and give each child a straw. Children place one end of the straw in their mouths and the other in the water and start to blow bubbles. Children will enjoy the noises they make and will also have fun seeing who can blow the biggest bubbles.

I think this activity is great but couldu blow bubbles with any kind of straws like drinkng straws for example?

Fahima Begum – You could use any drinking straws with this activity. You could also give the children lots of different sizes and shapes of straws to experiment with.
