Nursery Activity Ideas

Jelly Play

Children of all ages will enjoy playing with and eating! different flavours of jelly.

You will need:

• Jelly
• Bowl
• Megablocks or animals

Activity:

Make up your chosen flavour of jelly following the instructions on the packet, and leave to set in a large bowl or deep tray. Older children can be involved in the process of making the jelly, this can then be a separate activity in itself. Once set either turn out onto a table or allow the children to scoop it out of the bowl themselves. To make the jelly more interesting place objects into the jelly for the children to play with such as animals or megablocks etc.
