Nursery Activity Idea: Making A Felt Number Board
This can be used by children of all ages to increase their familiarity with numbers, it is also a sensory way of learning.
Cut some large numbers out of coloured felt and glue onto a wooden board, cardboard or stick to a wall. Children can see and begin to recognise the numbers, and trace the numbers with their fingers when they are learning to write.
