Nursery Activity Idea: Making Number Vests
This can be a fun and hands on way for children to learn and recognise numbers.
Make large numbers out of fabric and stitch them onto a vest of tabard. The children can then wear these and order themselves into a line, they can be used for number songs or for playing games such as “simon says” were all the children with a number 1 on their vest performs a certain task. This can be a fun way for children to become familiar with their numbers.
