Nursery Activity Ideas - Making A Musical Instrument From Household Items
This simple creative outside activity can be enjoyed by children of all ages.
You will need:
- Colander
- Metal spatula
- Large metal spoons
- Metal ladle
- Other metal household items
- Strong string
Activity:
Some of these items may already have holes in the handles for you to tie the string through, if not tie the string around the handle of each item. next tie the items to the fence. provide the children with metal or wooden drum sticks or beaters to bang the items, to experiment with the sounds they make.
