Nursery Activity Ideas - Role Play Washing Line
This is a fun, simple outdoor activity for children over the age of two, that can be used with the outdoor home corner or play house.
You will need:
- String or washing line
- Peg basket
- Pegs
- Water tray
- Washing basket
- Dolls clothes / children’s old clothes
Activity:
Tie the piece of string or washing line between two trees or the? fence at a hight all the children can reach. Fill the water tray with warm water and provide the children with a range of dolls clothes, tea towels or nurseries spare children’s clothes. Children can wash the clothes then hanging them on the line to dry,they can watch and check on their clothes as they dry.
