Nursery Activity Ideas - Create Your Own Puppet Show
A great idea that older children will enjoy creating and using.
Tape up the flaps of a cardboard box, the size of the box will depend on the size of the puppet show you would like. Cut out two doors on one side that open outwards like shutters, and on the opposite side cut out a large part of the cardboard.
Give the children a variety of paints, paper, glitter, materials and sequins etc to make a group decision on their decoration. The inside of the doors and the inside of the box should also be decorated.
Children will enjoy using hand puppets or their own made puppets, to perform their puppet shows for the group.
