Nursery Activity Idea: Making People Using Magnetic Shapes
A fun activity for older children to become familiar with different shapes.
Give the children a magnetic board and a selection of magnetic shapes in a variety of colours. The children can use the different shapes and their imagination to create people. Encourage children to name some shapes and discuss their designs as they are being created.
