Nursery Activity Ideas - Make Your Own Boat
Children will have fun making and playing with their boats.
Give the children a choice of different size margerine tubs, a blunt kebab stick or lolly pop stick and some playdough. Make a sail using decorated paper or material, and glue to the top of the stick. Roll a ball of playdough and stick in the bottom of the margerine tub and push the sails into the playdough.
Children can use their boats on a water tray and create their own games or races by blowing into the sails.
