Making A Paper Plate Frisbee

This is a very simple creative activity suitable for children of all ages. Older children will also enjoy playing with their Frisbee.

You will need:

  • Large paper plates
  • Paints in a variety of colours

Activity:

Give each child a paper plate to paint in their own choice of colours and patterns. Paint both sides of the paper plate and leave it to dry. Once the Frisbee has dried they can either be attached to the wall or hung from the ceiling as part of a toys or summer themed display.

Older children could also take their Frisbee into the garden on a nice day to enjoy playing with them, throw them to each other and seeing how they fly.

Areas of learning covered:

  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World
  • Creative development
